To elevate core Project for the web capabilities to cover typical Project and Portfolio Management requirements, Microsoft released a Project for the web Project Accelerator, which provides a Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) Power Platform solution that can be customised entirely against your requirements, allowing you to build our tables, processes and reports to support Project Management, Governance and Reporting.

- Project for the web Power BI Pack
This solution can be deployed following the instructions Microsoft have provided on Github. Many of our customers have benefited by having a guided deployment, where one of our consultants can support the initial deployment, explaining the solution and the configuration options in a short series of workshops (Contact us if you would like more information on guided Project for the web Project Accelerator deployment).
The Power BI Pack has several example reports, but I wanted one specifically for Project Status. So I created a simple Project for the web Status Report template, which you can also download from Github.
This provides a simple Project Status Report Pack filtered by Project:
Home Page – Showing key project information, latest Project Status update, active Risks, active Issues and All Project Milestones, with navigation to all Risks reports, all Issues reports and a Project Timeline report.
