At CPS, the festive season is a time for reflection. A moment to pause, look back on the year, and think about how we can give back in a way that genuinely makes a difference.
This Christmas, we wanted our giving to be guided not just by us, but by the people we work alongside every day. So, we asked our customers to help us choose our Christmas charity and the response was incredibly moving.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to share feedback, have conversations with us, and cast their vote. Your support turned a simple idea into something truly meaningful.
Rather than making the decision internally, we opened up the conversation. Customers were invited to vote for the charity that resonated most with them, using their feedback to help shape where our festive support would go.
Every response counted. And every response reminded us that giving is always more powerful when it’s shared.
Save the Children – 39% of votes
Save the Children exists to give children the chance of a brighter future. Their work protects children in the toughest circumstances, providing access to education, healthcare, and emergency support when it’s needed most. For many of our customers, this charity represents hope, protection, and the belief that every child deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Mencap – 39% of votes
Mencap supports people with learning disabilities to live full, independent, and inclusive lives. From advocating for equal rights to supporting families and individuals day to day, their work challenges barriers and champions dignity. The strong support for Mencap reflects a shared belief in inclusion, fairness, and opportunity for all.
The Salvation Army – 22% of votes
The Salvation Army provides hands-on support to people facing some of life’s toughest challenges. Whether it’s homelessness, financial hardship, or crisis situations, their work offers compassion, practical help, and hope. The votes they received are a testament to the importance of supporting people when they need it most.
The vote results showed just how close these causes are to people’s hearts:

What made this initiative special wasn’t just the final outcome, it was the conversations it sparked. The stories shared. The reasons behind the votes. The reminder that behind every organisation, every project, and every partnership, there are people.
As a business, we talk a lot about partnership, trust, and long-term relationships. This festive giving vote brought those values to life in the most human way possible.
To everyone who voted, shared their thoughts, or supported the campaign, thank you. You helped ensure our festive giving was shaped by compassion, community, and shared values.
We’re proud to stand alongside Save the Children, Mencap, and The Salvation Army, and even prouder to do so with the support of our customers.
From all of us at CPS, thank you for helping us give back……together.
